Why is Yein&Young the gentle choice for your family?
Because it leaves out the things many parents try to avoid. It is true castile soap made from three plant oils. It has no sulfates, no added fragrance and no colour. It is halal-certified, clinically tested and dermatologist-approved.
You dilute it, so every wash is mild. One bottle covers baby, family and home.

Baby skin needs a gentler wash
A baby's skin is thinner than an adult's and loses moisture more easily. Strong cleansers can strip the natural oils that protect it. Fragrance and dye are also common causes of skin reactions. That is why many parents look for a short, simple ingredient list.
Clean
Removes dirt, milk and sweat.
No stripping
Plant oils, not harsh detergents.
Nothing extra
No perfume, no dye, no sulfates.
Why unscented
Babies don't need fragrance
Fragrance does not clean anything. It is added for the adult nose, not for baby's skin. So we left it out completely.
It can irritate
Fragrance is one of the most common causes of skin reactions. Baby skin is thin and delicate.
It hides the list
On a label, the single word "fragrance" can stand for many ingredients.
Baby smells like baby
Newborns learn their parents' natural scent. Many parents like to keep it that way.
It adds nothing
A good wash needs soap and water, not perfume.
Unscented or fragrance-free? Some "unscented" products add a masking fragrance to cover smells. Yein&Young adds no fragrance of any kind.
What we left out, and why
Every ingredient is a choice. These are the ones we chose not to use.
No fragrance
It adds scent, not cleaning. It is a common cause of skin reactions.
No sulfates
They make big foam, but can strip the natural oils from delicate skin.
No colour
Dye does nothing for skin. It only makes the bottle look pretty.
No preservatives
Fewer added ingredients means fewer things that can irritate delicate skin.
No silicone oils
They coat skin and hair but do not clean. Some break down slowly in nature.
No synthetic detergents
Cleaning comes from plant-oil soap, not lab-made foaming agents.
Kind to nature
Good for baby. Good for the river.
Everything you wash off goes down the drain, into rivers and out to the sea. Yein&Young is made to go back to nature.
100% biodegradable
Plant oils that break down naturally.
Nature-bound
From olive, coconut and castor oil, and back to nature.
Reef and river safe
No sulfates, dyes, silicones or synthetic fragrance in the water.
Less plastic
One bottle does the job of several products, so you buy and throw away fewer bottles. Plus did we mention it is all packed in glass bottles?
What is in the bottle
Organic olive oil
Soft and conditioning. The classic oil in castile soap.
Organic coconut oil
Gives the cleansing power and a light, creamy lather.
Castor oil
Adds a smooth, creamy feel to the lather.
No added fragrance. No colour. No sulfates. No preservatives.

Read the label: how it compares
Based on common ingredients in typical mass-market washes. Always read each label.
How to use it as a baby wash
- Patch test. Dab a little diluted soap on the inner arm and wait a day.
- Dilute. Mix 1 part soap with 10 parts water.
- Wash gently. A small amount is enough. Keep it away from the eyes.
- Rinse well. Use clean water until the skin feels smooth, not slippery.
- Pat dry and moisturise. This keeps skin soft after washing.
For newborns or babies with reactive skin, check with your paediatrician before you start.

One bottle, five jobs
Baby wash
Unscented and diluted. Check with your paediatrician for newborns.
Body and hand wash
A small amount goes a long way. Rinse well.
Face cleanser
Avoid the eyes. Patch test first.
Hair and scalp
It may feel different from normal shampoo.
Natural cleaner
Good for baby toys, cot and seats.
Never mix it with vinegar. Acids make castile soap curdle and stop working.
Good to know before you buy
Soap is alkaline
A small pump into a baby tub will do. Rinse and moisturise after.
Light lather
Expect a creamy, gentle lather, not big foam.
Hair may feel different
It can be used to wash baby's hair. It will not feel the same as conventional shampoo that is packed with silicone oils.
Not a medical treatment
For skin conditions, see your doctor. It is clinically tested and suitable for sensitive skin.
